Nydia Elena Garcia Wedding 2013

Hi there, I'm Nydia!

Welcome to Discovering Purpose.Life. My name is Nydia (pronounced KNEE-the-ah) Elena Garcia, and I'm the founder of Discovering Purpose.Life, a place to discover your God-given purpose and inspiration to put those plans into action.

Nydia Elena Garcia and David
Strategic life planning, practical advice, and compassionate encouragement that will inspire you to discover and live out your God-given purpose!

Most importantly, I am a wife to my best friend Ezreal J. Garcia and mommy to Baby David. Running after our toddler is the equivalent of a full-blown work out routine!

At Discovering Purpose.Life, it is truly my desire to help others find direction and activation through strategic lessons I've learned in business and ministry.

Nydia

At key points in my life, I have personally struggled with finding my own purpose. This left me feeling depressed, bored, and anxious. I have had moments of downright devastation when my plans didn't work out the way I thought they were supposed to.

However, I have found that by finding my identity in Jesus Christ and daring to believe the plans he has for me I can help others and impact the world to the greatest extent by participating in humanity's Greatest Mission of All Time

I have worked in healthcare management for over 8 years and have a bachelor's degree in anthropology (also known as cultural studies - I am fascinated by people) plus a master's degree in public health with a concentration in healthcare management. I am also Six Sigma certified, which is a set of techniques for process improvement. While I was unemployed in 2014 (more on that later) I became a certified professional Spanish-English interpreter.

I've also served in various capacities in church ministry since the age of 15 and now serve on the executive leadership team at my local church.
